This submission to the SePublica workshop was an unusual one. The authors originally submitted an OWL ontology about amino acids, which was only followed by a PDF submission on request of the editors, to ensure a fair review. The final version of the paper as well as this blog post by the first author reflect on the role of the ontology as a semantic publication and on the unusual review process; further detail about the ontology can be found in another blog post by the first author.
